Marcelo Xavier Seeling PhD in Production Management from the Postgraduate Program of the Department of Industrial Engineering at the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro (PUC-RIO), in 2022. He holds an academic master’s degree from the Postgraduate Program in Production Engineering ( PPGEP) from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul (UFRGS/2000), course currently rated 6 by CAPES, Executive MBA in Business Logistics from Fundação Getúlio Vargas (FGV/2002), postgraduate degree in Occupational Safety Engineering from the University from Vale do Rio dos Sinos (UNISINOS/1992) and in Human Resources Administration from the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio Grande do Sul (PUC/1991) and a degree in Electrical Engineering from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul (UFRGS/1989). He has experience in the areas of Production Engineering, Operations, Purchasing, Logistics and Supply Chain Management. He was a professor at the University of Vale do Rio dos Sinos (UNISINOS) for several years. He has developed a long executive career (28+ years) in large companies, having held directorships and worked inside and outside Brazil. He is currently a professor at the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro (PUC-Rio). Today he holds the position of director of operations/supply chain at COVETRUS, a multinational company that manufactures veterinary and animal feed products.
