Luiz Felipe Scavarda has been a professor at the Department of Industrial Engineering (DEI) since 2002. His research interests focus on supply chain integration and its interfaces with sustainability, risk, industry 4.0/5.0, business processes and organizational performance. He works in the Postgraduate Academic Program in Production Engineering in the research concentration area of ​​Operations and Business in Engineering in the Professional Master’s Degree in Logistics. He has a PQ Productivity scholarship at CNPq level 1C and is a Senior Scientist at FAPERJ. He was Coordinator of the Undergraduate Program in Production Engineering from 2016 to 2010, Director of the DEI for five terms between 2012 and 2023 and Central Coordinator of Postgraduate and Research of the PUC-Rio in 2023. He was Coordinator of Professional Programs in the Engineering Area III in CAPES in 2022. He is a founding member of LABGOALS (DEI/PUC-Rio), Visiting International Professor (VIP) at the University of Münster and Humboldt Researcher since 2015.
