Dr. Davi Michel Valladão is professor of the Industrial Engineering Department of Pontifical Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro (PUC-Rio). His research interests are the optimization under the uncertainty and risk analysis for financial investments, in particular, Asset and Liability Management (ALM), Corporative Finances and Portfolio Selection. Before entering into PUC-Rio as Professor, Davi was member of the Natural Resources Optimization Group of IBM Research – Brazil. Davi has Doctorate in Decision Support Systems (2011) in the Electric Engineering Department of PUC-Rio. As part of his PhD program, he was a visiting researcher in the Operation Research and Financial Engineering (ORFE) of the University of Princeton. Besides, Davi has a master degree in Actuarial Sciences and Finances (2008), and bachelor degree in Electric and Industrial Engineering (2006) via PUC-Rio.
